Our party themes are created and illustrated by our team of talented graphic designers. If you have your heart set on a theme or colour range we don’t currently have online, please contact us about creating a custom design.

To order your party stationery, simply choose your party theme and fill out the details on its corresponding product page. These details will be used to create your invitation and party stationery so be sure to triple check your spelling or any typos. If you require changes after ordering, an additional service fee will be applied (see FAQs and our Terms & Conditions for more details on this).

The typography design is as per the designs you see on each product page. Therefore we do not change fonts or the case used; for example if you complete the personalised fields in capital letters, the name and address will still be created in its corresponding party theme design which may be sentence case.

There may be more than one colour variation to choose from, select your colour as well as which Stationery option you desire; either DIY and Print Yourself, or have us Print It For You. There are then corresponding packages within these two options. See DIY Stationery Kit or Print My Stationery Kit to see what’s included. If you would like an alternative colour range, please contact us about a custom design.

Once we receive your order confirmation, we carefully review your chosen party theme, details and corresponding stationery kit. For the DIY option; we will personalise your party stationery and create a link for you to securely download your files from. You’ll receive this link via email and your personalised party stationery is ready to download, save and print yourself. Our designs are very sacred to us, therefore your PDF files will expire after the date of your party to insure no Copyright is infringed or passed onto 3rd party users.

If you have ordered a Print My Stationery Kit option, once we receive your order we personalised your party stationery and have it printed with our trusted printing supplier. Your stationery is then carefully packaged and delivered to your advised address. Please order carefully as there are no refunds on your printed items (unless a mistake rests with Sweet Stationery).

In the DIY Kits; each file is supplied as high resolution PDF format. For smaller stationery items you will receive the individual file to scale, as well as it already tiled onto an A4 sheet making it easy to print multiple copies per page; at home or with your local printing supplier. We always recommend you print your files with a local trusted supplier instead of an 'at-home printer’ to get the best quality for your stationery.

Please read our Terms & Conditions prior to ordering.

DIY Printing Recommendations

By printing the stationery yourself, you have the freedom to choose paper stocks. However, below is a list of recommendations for each stationery item you may wish to follow.
Every set of stationery is designed to be printing on White paper stock. We suggest a white stock in a matt or semi-coated finish. Remember that every printer is different and colours will vary from printer/supplier. We always recommend you print your files with a local supplier instead of an 'at-home printer’ to get the best quality.

Invitation:
Go for a thicker paper stock close to 300gsm. You can also use our invitation file as a digital file for emailing or messaging to invite you guests.

Welcome Sign:
If you’re putting this in a frame then you can choose any thickness of paper from 100gsm. If you want the sign to stand on its own, ask your printer about adhering it or printing directly onto a backing board or foam-core like product. Alternately you can adhere it yourself to a thick board using adhesive spray or double sided tape.

Thank You Postcard:
Choose a thicker paper stock above 300gsm

Backdrop:
There are a few options you can go with for your backdrop, which depends on your chosen printing supplier. Some may print the banner on a waterproof or thicker stock that will be sturdy for outdoor use (and even put eyelets in for you ready to hang). You can also print this on a poster like paper stock (from 180-280gsm) and pin/stick it up yourself. If you need your Backdrop file size alternated to suit your printer, please contact us asap to see if we can assist.

Table Signage:
If you're placing these into frames, you can choose anything thickness of paper from 100gsm. If you’d like them to stand up themselves, speak to you printer about adhering it to a ’self standing’ backing board. You can also get creative and choose your own mini stands to put the base of the signs in and place them around your party.

Bunting:
Choose a paper stock from 180gsm. We have designed our bunting to have three designs per page so you can alternate the theme along your bunting. Simply cut, hole punch in each top corner and weave them through your string and they’re ready to hang up with your chosen string or ribbon.

Straw Flags:
Choose a thinner paper stock around 100gsm to easily wrap them around your straws. Use a small piece of double sided tape or glue to secure them around the straw so they don’t move around too much.

Food Label Tents:
Choose a thicker paper stock from 260gsm so they will be able to stand up securely once they’re folded.

Cupcake Topper and Favour Label:
Depending on what you’re using these for will depend on the stock. We like to print these as stickers for easy use, or you can print them out on any paper stock from 120gsm. If you’re creating cake-toppers, stick two back-to-back with a toothpick in the middle.

Variety Use Party Label:
These are great for adding your theme around different touch points of your party. They can be used for a variety of elements such as swing tags, decorations, sticking on party hats, gift bags, boxes, jars etc. Depending on what you’re using these for will depend on the stock. We like to print these as stickers for easy use, or you can print them out on any paper stock from 120gsm.

Cello Bag Topper:
Go for a paper stock from 180gsm that can be easily folded to sit across the top of your cello bag. Alternately you can use a thicker stock for a more sturdy feel - as long as you can easily fold it in the middle. Then simply stick with double sided tape or stable these onto of your cello bag.

Swing Tag:
Choose a thicker stock from 300gsm for your swing tags. Add a whole punch in the middle up the top and you’re ready to go.

Pop-top Bottle Label:
We suggest printing these as stickers if possible, as it will prevent them from pealing away if water bottles are cold and condensation starts to form. Alternatively ask your printer about a coated paper stock that will also assist here.

Water Bottle Wraps:
Like our Pop-Top Bottle Labels, go for a coated paper stock or sticker here; it also makes it easy to apply without any tape. Alternatively you can print these on a paper stock around 120gsm and use double sided tape where the design meets at the back of the bottle. Be careful when printing on paper; don't to put these in an ice bucket or where condensation can start to form as the paper and design may be damaged.

Lunchbox Front:
As these are adhered to a box, you can choose any paper stock from 120gsm. Adhere them to your lunchbox with adhesive spray or double sided tape for a clean finish.
**Check our specs for the lunchbox artwork here to ensure they’re the right size for your purchased box** If you need your Lunchbox file size alternated to suit your boxes, please contact us asap to see if we can assist.

Placemat:
Choose A4 or A3 in size depending on table size. These are great laminated or on a thick coated stock over 300gsm.

Plate Setting:
As these are adhered to a party plate, you can choose any paper stock from 100gsm. However, please note these are designed for decorations only and placing any wet or hot food on top may result in the ink running. If you are going to place unwrapped food on these plates please use a food grade paper.

Cutlery Wrap:
Choose a paper stock around 200gsm so that you can easily fold them around your cutlery whilst being a bit stronger.
